Studying at the Department of Prehistoric and Historical Archaeology
The study of prehistory and historical archaeology is practice-oriented and prepares students for work in monument offices, museums, research and teaching companies, in accordance with the primary job profiles. The range of courses is as broad as possible so that fields of activity in cultural and scientific departments of various media (electronic media, newspapers, publishers, etc.) are also open. The study of prehistory and historical archaeology is intended to promote an understanding of social, economic and cultural-political processes in the sense of an anthropological and (cultural) historical discipline.
For more information on the curricula and the study organization, please contact Ass.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Alexandra Krenn-Leeb.
